Municipal Water and Sewage Systems in Wyoming: A Source Book of Data

The purpose of this publication is to present a compilation of basic
information and data for municipal water and sewage systems in Wyoming.
The information on municipal systems presented here was gathered by the
University of Wyoming's Division of Business and Economic Research from
questionnaires submitted to the Division by municipalities in the state.
Information obtained from questionnaires was further supplemented with
data supplied by the Wyoming Department of Public Health.
The summary information presented here was developed as an outgrowth
of a larger study of municipal and industrial water requirements in Wyoming.
Funds were provided jointly by two agencies of the U.S Department
of the Interior: the Wyoming Water Resources Research Institute, using
monies provided by the Office of Water Resources Research under the Water
Resources Research Act of 1964 (P.L. 88-379); and the U.S. Bureau of
Reclamation, Salt Lake City, Utah. The number of requests the Division
has received asking for the compilation of basic data presented here has
prompted the publication of this data source book as a public service to
meet these requests.
