the conduct of this research. Appreciation is also extended to the personnel who worked
on this project. A listing of cooperators and personnel who worked on this project is
included in Appendix A. There have also been many individuals and agencies not listed
who have contributed advice, information, time and other resources to this project. John
Borrelli who resigned from the University of Wyoming to assume a position with Texas
Tech University in January 1985 was instrumental in developing the experimental design
and field procedures and was actively engaged in the conduct of the project through 1984.
