The Uses and Needs of Streamside Zones by Wyoming Municipalities
Abstract
Whereas the original siting location of towns and
cities with respect to streamside zones was based
primarily upon transportation and water supply, other
benefits of the riparian location have become just if
not more important. These benefits include wastewater
conveyance and treatment, industrial development,
recreation and aesthetic residential development
