Water Conservation - Relief for the Taxpayer

Abstract

Although Wyoming has surplus water, specific new consumptive uses are increasingly expensive. Using the City of Casper as a non-typical example, the authors show how a potential of over $2,600,000 per year might be saved by recycling cleaned, nutrient-rich municipal wastewater onto a City park. Problems and potential are examined.
